Tickets have gone on sale for the 2023 St Pats race meeting with over 100 sold on the first day.

The club is using the online booking agency 123 tix to sell packages, memberships and general admission tickets and opened bookings on Wednesday.

“It has been an incredible response,“ said Office Manager Lyn Bent, “This is the first time we have used the online booking service, we have had people from all over Australia booking tickets.“

The club has been working closely with the Dubbo based company for 6 months to make sure everything was in place for the launch ahead of the race meeting on the 11th March next year.

“There was a lot of ground work behind the scenes but we are delighted with the end result,“ she said.

“It is a very straight forward process for people to book and pay and will streamline the way we sell packages and tickets.“

For those who opt to purchase direct from the St Pats office that is still an option.

“We are still selling  tickets from our office in the BHP building, by having the online booking service and direct sales it gives people an option.”

According to Racing Manager John Bent the early indications are that some areas will sell out prior to Christmas for the March meeting.

“We have been promoting via our St Pats Facebook page that tickets were going on sale and through our data base of contacts have direct emailed some 300 people advising them.“

“The rush on tickets particularly in areas such as the Gary Radford Pavilion, Lawn Lounge and Wacky’s bar has been hectic.”
